This complete nail repair system allows quick and lasting repair of most broken and split nails.Proper use of the system will discourage damaged nails from additional splitting and snagging while growing out.Most acrylic nails breaks can be maintained until a visit to your salon.Nails with splits down the center and finished manicures can be protected from chips and further damage with the use of Calico Full Cover Shields, included in your system.
Instructions: Protect work surfaces while using removers, glue or top coats.For minor split in natural nails, use Polish-Off Nail Polish Remover Pad to remove enamel.Cleanse and disinfect nail with Calico Nail Prep Pad.Use of Nail Prep Pad will help Calico Invisible Nail Bandages and Nail Shields adhere better to the nail.Prep Pad is reusable when stored back in pouch and open edge folded over securely.Select sheet of small oval bandages (30) and choose size most appropriate to cover entire spilt. Lay sheet on flat surface and peel selected bandage from backing.Use enclosed orangewood stick edge to easily lift bandage form sheet.Place over split in nail.File / buff any excess material from nail tip or edge.File straight down at a 90-degree angle to edge of nail for best results.Apply Calico Minute Dry Top Coat to fully protect bandage.Reapply Calico Minute Dry Top Coat as needed every one to two days to maintain a secure seal.For major break in nail, remover polish and treat nail as noted above.Put drop of Calico Nail Repair Glue on split/break, spreading out flat with tip of glue pipette, quickly put nail in place, and allow to completely dry.Apply bandage as instructed above, followed by Calico Minute Dry Top Coat to seal the edges and provide a longer lasting mend.
